Windows 7 boot repair11/18/2023 ![]() ![]() I was very cerful when i restored the image on the disk which is a 1T disk why winodws on partion D now? During the repair i noticed that the Windows operating system is installed on D? How did that happen ? Could this be the problem ? As i mentioned before, i did disk from image restore, which mean all disk with its partitions C. But again i got a blue screen for a second then it restarted again and took me to the repair window this is where i had the same exact problem and windows was unable to fix the problem. So i tried fixing it using the windows 7 CD, went to command prompt issued two commandsīootrec /fixboot And fixmbd, i got operation successfull for both commands, after that i click on startup repair from the system recovery option, and this time it said, windows did not find any error to fix? So i thought problem is fixed , My laptop is a toshiba satellite L50-B1415 Now my laptop is not working well, so i restored the image that i did earlier i did disk from image, chose the image and started the restore, when it finish it said( image restore successful) When i started the laptop for the first time after the restore i got a blue screen for a second after trying to load windows7, then the laptop restarted by it self and started startup repair, after a few minute i got a message that says, window cannot repair this computer automatically ! ( if you attached a device to this computer such as camera or portable device remove it and restart you computer, if you keep getting this message again contact your system administrator ) Now i cannot access windows and I'm stuck !! Is there any solution to help me get my windows with my files that i had in my image ? Maybe the image is already restored on my disk but i just have to figure out a boot problem with windows7? 11.5 on windows 7 professional 64bit, and i did disk to image.and i set image quality to high.
